GHK-CU (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper) is a naturally occurring copper peptide complex that declines in concentration with age. Research has studied it for collagen and elastin synthesis stimulation via MMP/TIMP regulation, angiogenesis through VEGF-related pathways, hair follicle biology, wound healing and broad gene expression modulation, with one analysis identifying over 4,000 differentially expressed genes.
